ABLV Charitable Foundation Will Provide Support to Children of the Families of Victims of the Zolitūde Tragedy
December 2, 2013
ABLV Charitable Foundation will provide support to children from the families of victims of the Zolitūde tragedy.
The corporate charitable foundation ABLV Charitable Foundation has set up a special charitable programme “Let’s Help the Victims of 21.11.”, under the auspices of which, long-term support will be provided to the children from the families of victims of last November’s tragedy.
Even though, considerable financial support is being provided to these families by the general public, the municipality and the state, the objective of our programme is to help children in the long-term. We will coordinate help in collaboration with state and municipal institutions, providing support in those areas which are not receiving support or are no longer doing so. The programme is intended for children from families in which one or both parents died or were seriously injured in this tragedy.
We are also open to other applications and will assess each case individually.
In making a decision regarding provision of support, we will assess each application carefully. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that donations will not be paid out in cash, but will be used to cover the costs of specific services.
ABLV Bank has made the first donation to this programme in the amount of LVL 50,000. If you too want to help children, we invite you to donate!
