“Arterritory Conversations” No.3
November 5, 2014
We are pleased to announce that the third edition of the art and culture website Arterritory.com has printed publication “Arterritory Conversations”, which has been compiled with the support of ABLV Charitable Foundation’s operating field "Education”.
“Arterritory Conversations” contains conversations with interesting personalities from the contemporary culture landscape, which it would otherwise not be possible to meet in person. The star interviewees in this edition include directors Alvis Hermanis, Signe Baumane and Jonas Mekas, as well as the prominent Austrian gallerist Thaddaeus Ropac and Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, etc.
According to the magazine’s editorial team, a lot of attention is devoted in this edition to survival, the price of freedom, as well as political challenges. The art world is examined in greater depth along with its landmarks which help one to arrive at conscious existence.
“Arterritory Conversations” are published as three individual editions in Latvian, English and Russian. Currently, magazines are distributed free of charge at educational institutions, cafés, art galleries and museums in Latvia as well as the other Baltic countries. The number of copies is limited, therefore don’t miss the chance to become the proud owner of one.
The visual design of the publication was created by the design cooperative “Augusts” and artist Kirils Kirasirovs, who is renowned as one of the most talented graphic designers in Latvia. In turn, the magazine’s content was created by the website’s creative team, while publication concept was conceived by Arterritory.com Director Una Meistere and Editor-in-Chief Daiga Rudzāte.
