February 26, 2015
ABLV Charitable Foundation announces a grant competition for receipt of co-financing for the organisation of the programme “Let’s Help Them to Grow Up! Camps for Children and Families in 2015-2016” from 1 May 2015 to 30 November 2016.
The financing available under the auspices of the grant competition for camp projects is at least EUR 100,000. The deadline for the submission of applications is 15 March 2015 (until 23:59), sending them electronically to the following e-mail address: info@ablv.org. The grant competition regulation, application form and budget form, which must be completed in Latvian, are available on the Foundation’s homepage in the section “How to Receive Financing”.
We welcome grant applications from any organisation or foundation registered in Latvia, and local council or municipal institution, or council-established agency, whose operations are not connected to making profits, or from any state institution or state agency that operates on a not-for-profit basis.
“The operation of the previous programme has concluded successfully, under the auspices of which, 85 camps received support over a three-year period, providing 2,245 participants with the chance to take part in them. During these years, we have invested a total of EUR 193,167 in the camp programme. Support from donors during the Christmas charitable campaign was considerable; donations amounting to EUR 43,941 were received, which the Foundation will double from its reserves, and, thanks to which, we will continue the operation of the programme. Under the auspices of the competition, we hope to receive lots of interesting and well-motivated cooperation applications, providing unforgettable moments for camp participants in years to come,” says the foundation’s Chairman Zanda Zilgalve.
ABLV Charitable Foundation was founded in 2006 by ABLV Bank shareholders Ernests Bernis and Oļegs Fiļs, in order to put their core values into practice in real life and support the responsibility of entrepreneurs towards society and the environment.
